Mera Pind Scheme

The Government of Punjab has initiated inovative scheme i.e. Plan Scheme CD 2.35 (Mera Pind Initiative by NRIs). The scheme is implemented on the basis of 50% share from NRI and 50% matching grant share from Government of Punjab. The Government has agreed to provide funds on a matching basis even to the tune of Rs. 50.00 crore under the scheme. The Governor of Punjab have constituted two committees ie. i) District NRI Committee for Development (DINRICD) and, ii) Punjab NRI Committee for Development (PUNRICD) for the effective implementation and monitoring of the scheme. If any NRI has inovative idea to start a new scheme or to contribute in already running scheme then he/she may contact to concerned DINRICD Committee or may contact on phone with the following officers:
